Thread ring gauges for metric external thread in tolerance class 6e
6e is a tolerance class for external threads with an allowance — it leaves room for a surface treatment without the nut binding afterwards. A ring gauge checks an external thread on the same principle as a plug gauge checks an internal one: the go ring must run on, the no-go ring must not.
