Thread ring gauges for UNC, Unified coarse thread

UNC is the standard series for screws and nuts in the USA and Canada. Nominal diameters are given in inches and as gauge numbers, the pitch as threads per inch. A ring gauge checks an external thread on the same principle as a plug gauge checks an internal one: the go ring must run on, the no-go ring must not.
