STI thread gauges for metric coarse thread
The metric coarse thread is the standard thread in German-speaking countries and across much of Europe. Nominal diameter and pitch are given in millimetres, and the flank angle is 60°. STI gauges check the oversized thread that later receives a thread insert. It is a series of its own, because the receiving thread is larger than the working thread that follows.
