Machine taps with green ring, HSSE-PM
In this programme the green ring stands for powder-metallurgical high speed steel with a TiN coating. HSSE-PM has a finer and more even structure than conventional HSSE and takes higher loads. The coloured ring on the shank identifies the version at a glance, without reading the marking — useful when several variants of the same size sit side by side on the shelf.
VÖLKEL offers 36 versions to DIN 371 and DIN 376, in HSSE-PM, from M 3 x 0.5 to M 16 x 2.0. Lead forms B and C cover through holes and blind holes, TiN coated versions are included.
