Machine taps for metric left-hand thread

A left-hand thread tightens counter-clockwise. It is used wherever the direction of rotation of a part would loosen a right-hand thread — on clamping devices, spindles and rotating shafts. Machine taps cut the thread in a single pass and run in a drilling machine, a machining centre or a tapping attachment.

VÖLKEL offers 70 versions to DIN 371 and DIN 376, in HSSE, from M 3 x 0.5 to M 52 x 5.0. Lead forms B and C cover through holes and blind holes.
