Round dies and hexagon die nuts for BA, British Association thread
BA is the British series for very small threads, named after the British Association. It turns up in precision mechanics, electrical engineering and instruments; the size is given as a number, not as a diameter. Dies cut external threads on bolts, rods and pipes. The round die sits in a die holder; the hexagon die nut is turned with an open-ended spanner and therefore also works during assembly.
