Round dies and hexagon die nuts for FG and BSC, bicycle threads
Bicycle threads are a series of their own with very fine pitches. They sit in spokes, hubs, axles and bottom brackets, where a standard thread would be either too coarse or too large. Dies cut external threads on bolts, rods and pipes. The round die sits in a die holder; the hexagon die nut is turned with an open-ended spanner and therefore also works during assembly.
VÖLKEL offers 15 versions to DIN 223 and DIN EN 22568, in HSS, from FG 2 x 56 to FG 25.4 x 24.
