Round dies and hexagon die nuts for PG, steel conduit thread
PG is the thread for cable glands and conduits in electrical installation. It is shallower than a metric thread so that it still carries in thin-walled sleeves. Dies cut external threads on bolts, rods and pipes. The round die sits in a die holder; the hexagon die nut is turned with an open-ended spanner and therefore also works during assembly.
VÖLKEL offers 10 versions to DIN 40434, in HSS, from PG 7 x 20 to PG 48 x 16.
