Short machine taps for BSW and W to DIN 477

DIN 477 governs the connection threads on gas cylinders. Which thread goes with which gas is fixed there, so that a cylinder cannot be fitted to the wrong regulator. A short machine tap produces the finished thread in one pass. It replaces the three-piece set wherever speed matters, and works by hand as well as in the machine.

VÖLKEL offers 15 versions to DIN 352, in HSS-G, from BSW 1/8 x 40 to BSW 1" x 8, plus W 19.8 x 14 to W 31.3 x 14. Lead forms C and D cover through holes and blind holes.
