V-COIL Gewindeeinsätze für BSW, Whitworth-Gewinde
Whitworth ist das älteste genormte Gewinde überhaupt und an britischen Maschinen, Oldtimern und Altanlagen bis heute anzutreffen. Der Flankenwinkel beträgt 55° statt der 60° des metrischen Gewindes, die Gewindespitzen sind abgerundet. Ein Gewindeeinsatz stellt ein ausgerissenes Gewinde wieder her und gibt ihm dabei eine Tragfähigkeit, die über der des ursprünglichen Gewindes liegen kann. Die Drahtspirale aus nichtrostendem Stahl wird in das aufgebohrte und mit dem STI-Werkzeug nachgeschnittene Gewinde eingedreht.
VÖLKEL führt dafür 120 Ausführungen, von BSW 1/8 x 40 bis BSW 1" x 8.
