Thread forming taps for tolerance class 6H, TiN coated

The TiN coating is hard and gold coloured. It lowers friction during forming and extends tool life, particularly in tough materials. A thread former does not cut — it presses the thread into the wall of the core hole without chips. Nothing is left in a blind hole that could jam later, and the grain structure is compacted.
