Machine taps for Rp, parallel pipe thread
Rp is the parallel internal thread of the British pipe thread system. It receives a tapered R external thread, which wedges in the thread as it is screwed home. Machine taps cut the thread in a single pass and run in a drilling machine, a machining centre or a tapping attachment.
