1. Preparation: Clean the damaged hole and drill out using the included STI twist drill (6.6 mm).
2. Tapping: Cut the new STI thread with the HSS-G STI tap BSF 1/4" × 26 using suitable cutting oil.
3. Insert Installation: Screw the stainless steel insert into the new thread using the manual inserting tool until it sits flush.
4. Breaking the Tang: Remove the driving tang with the tang break tool.
5. Inspection: Check the repaired thread by inserting a matching screw to verify fit and strength.
