1. Preparation: Clean the damaged thread, slightly countersink, and secure the workpiece.
2. Cut the STI thread: Use the HSS-G STI Hand Tap M52 × 5.0 with cutting oil, cutting evenly and breaking the chip regularly.
3. Insert installation: Screw in the wire insert using the 3/4″ inserting tool, about a ¼ turn below the surface.
4. Remove tang: Break off the tang cleanly with the integrated tang breaker.
5. Check: Verify the repaired thread with a test bolt or gauge.

Tip: Apply sufficient lubrication – it reduces torque and improves the surface finish.
