1. Thread preparation: Clean the damaged thread using a wire brush and remove burrs.
2. Positioning: Place the die nut carefully onto the thread and align it correctly.
3. Tool engagement: Use a suitable wrench (85 mm width) and start turning the die nut slowly.
4. Re-cutting: Apply steady torque and use cutting oil to reduce friction and wear.
5. Back off & check: Remove the die nut and inspect the thread visually and with a matching nut.
