Machine Taps HexDrive
We are expanding our range in the field of machine taps. From now on VÖLKEL offers machine taps made of HSS-E with hexagon drive (1/4" bit).
Available with chamfer form B (for through holes) or form C 15° RSP (for blind holes) and in dimensions M3 to M12.
The design of the VÖLKEL Machine Taps HexDrive is based on the widely used construction standards DIN371 (for M3 to M10) and DIN376 (for M12), with the only difference that they use a 1/4" hexagon as drive instead of a square.
The new Machine Taps HexDrive are recommended for machining unalloyed to low-alloyed materials with a maximum tensile strength of up to 900 N/mm² .
