Partner of the PVH 2025 – VÖLKEL takes 1st place
The International Hardware Fair in Cologne is one of the most important meeting points for the tool and hardware industry. For us at VÖLKEL Threading Solutions this year was especially significant for two reasons: on the one hand, we are celebrating 111 years of VÖLKEL with new products and special items, and on the other hand, there was a moment we are particularly proud of.
As part of the PVH partner awards we were awarded 1st place in the precision tools product category. The certificate was presented to us directly at the trade fair.
With an overall score of 2.2 we were able to take the top position in this category. What matters most to us is that this award comes directly from specialist retailers because, in the end, what counts is how our threading tools perform in day-to-day use.
PVH partner awards: Direct feedback from specialist retailers
The “Partner of the PVH” award is one of the most important industry evaluations in the tool trade and is organized by the Central Association of the Hardware Trade.
What makes it special is this: the evaluation does not come from a jury, but directly from the specialist trade. Retailers assess their industry partners on the basis of their day-to-day collaboration and their practical experience.
Among other things, the following criteria play a role:
• Product quality and range
• Delivery reliability
• Innovative strength
• Support for specialist retailers
• Collaboration and profitability
The results show very clearly how manufacturers are perceived in the market. The fact that we at VÖLKEL achieved 1st place in the precision tools product category is therefore a particularly valuable confirmation for us.
A strong signal from the field
For us at VÖLKEL this award is far more than just a certificate. It shows us how our work is received in the specialist trade and confirms that our products deliver in everyday use. Because that is exactly where it is decided whether a tool really works.
For more than 100 years we have been developing and manufacturing threading tools for professional users. Our taps, dies and thread repair systems are used every day – in workshops, in mechanical engineering, or in maintenance. For us, what matters above all is that our tools work reliably in everyday use.
Specialist retailers play a central role in this. Together, we ensure that our tools arrive exactly where they are needed. The exchange with specialist retailers and the experience gained in practice help us to continuously develop our range and align it even better with everyday requirements.
Motivation for the future
We were, of course, very pleased about 1st place in the precision tools category. At the same time, for us it is above all one thing: a clear incentive to continue on our path and keep developing step by step.
Together with the specialist trade we also want to continue working in the future to expand our range in a targeted way and align it even more closely with practical requirements. Close exchange plays an important role here, because that is where the best ideas for new solutions emerge.
Another important point for us remains availability. Over 99% of our products are available directly from stock and can be delivered at short notice. This is how we ensure that the right threading tools are available exactly when they are needed.

A big thank you to all specialist retailers who voted for us and work with our products every day. Without you, this award would not have been possible. The exchange with specialist retailers in particular shows us time and again what really matters in practice. That is exactly what helps us keep improving.
The fact that we achieved 1st place in the precision tools product category in the PVH partner awards means even more to us. It shows that together we are on the right path. We look forward to further expanding our cooperation and continuing to work together on solutions related to threading technology.
